A new concert on the notes of Giuseppe Verdi on stage in Santa Maria Novella

Appointment for all on May 25th in the Basilica of Santa Maria Novella to attend a new, great and free concert. Giuseppe Verdi composed the Requiem Mass in 1874 to commemorate the death of a well-known Italian writer and poet: Alessandro Manzoni (1873 May 22nd).

The Armonie in Villa Association and the Schola Cantorum Labronica will stage this great success of post-unification Italy in front of the frescoes of the Tornabuoni chapel of Santa Maria Novella. The two institutions collaborate with prestigious and established orchestra conductors, proposing to create top-level concerts, both symphonic and operatic.

Giuseppe Verdi's Requiem Mass is animated by the 'Domenico Scarlatti' Orchestra and the 'Schola Cantorum Labronica' Choir, both directed by Maurizio Preziosi.

The soprano Silvia Pacini, the mezzosporano Ramona Peter, the tenor Giovanni Cervelli, the bass Romano Martinuzzi - M ° collaborator Saverio Mancuso will perform
